Job Description

We are seeking an exceptional UK & EU Sales and Business Development Lead—a strategic thinker and relentless executor with a proven track record of exceeding sales targets in the technology sector. This role demands a self-driven individual who thrives in a competitive environment, is relentless in pursuit of success, and possesses the strategic acumen to navigate complex sales landscapes. You will be at the forefront of driving Adroit's growth, securing high-value clients, and expanding our footprint across the UK and EU.

Key Responsibilities

  • New Business Development: Proactively identify, target, and secure new business opportunities across the UK and EU. Your primary objective is to drive significant revenue growth by introducing Adroit's full suite of services to potential clients.
  • Client Relationship Management: Cultivate and strengthen relationships with existing clients, identifying opportunities for upselling and cross-selling. Your goal is to expand our reach within each client organisation, ensuring they view Adroit as their strategic partner of choice.
  • Strategic Networking: Represent Adroit at key industry events, conferences, and client meetings, establishing yourself as a thought leader and trusted advisor within the industry. Your ability to network and form strategic partnerships will be critical to your success.
  • Market Intelligence: Conduct in-depth market research and competitive analysis to stay ahead of industry trends. Your insights will inform our sales strategies and ensure we remain at the forefront of the market.
  • Compelling Pitching and Presentation: Develop and deliver high-impact pitches and presentations using our brand that resonate with senior decision-makers. You will be responsible for conveying Adroit's value proposition with clarity and conviction.
  • Sales Strategy and Execution: Develop and implement robust sales strategies that align with Adroit's growth objectives. You will be expected to deliver against ambitious sales targets, driving measurable results.
  • Framework Compliance: Ensure Adroit's inclusion on relevant government and private sector frameworks, leveraging your knowledge of procurement processes and regulatory requirements.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador for Adroit, promoting our services, values, and unique selling points with unwavering enthusiasm and professionalism.

Required Skills & Experience

  • Proven Sales Success: Extensive experience as a Sales and Business Development leader within the technology sector, with a demonstrable track record of consistently exceeding sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Industry Expertise: Deep understanding of DevOps, software development, digital transformation, and data analytics landscapes, with the ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and translate them into compelling sales propositions.
  • Advanced Communication Skills: Exceptional communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence C-suite executives and other senior stakeholders.
  • High-Level Strategic Thinking: Strong strategic planning skills, with the ability to develop and execute sales strategies that deliver tangible results.
  • Market Insight: Proven ability to conduct market research, analyse trends, and adapt strategies to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving industry.
  • CRM Proficiency: Advanced proficiency with CRM software, ensuring all sales activities are meticulously tracked, analysed, and optimised for success.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Knowledge of relevant compliance standards such as GDPR, KYC, AML, PSD2, DORA, NIS2, PCI-DSS 4.0, and other relevant regulations, with experience working within highly regulated environments.
