We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join one of Adroit's clients, a global independent price reporting agency covering metals, mining, agriculture, forest products and energy transition markets.

You will join a globally distributed Agile team building and maintaining the organisation’s digital platform, working across a .NET, Angular and Microsoft Azure stack built on microservices.

You will provide technical expertise to major projects, contribute to technical decisions, and collaborate closely with product managers, business analysts and cloud engineering teams across geographies.

• Develop solutions for new features while maintaining and improving existing products.
• Adhere to sound software engineering design principles, including design patterns and SOLID code.
• Ensure code is well structured, clean, readable, testable and efficiently written.
• Implement appropriate automated testing and maintain clear documentation.
• Collaborate with product, business analyst and cloud engineering teams across the organisation.
• Provide technical expertise to major projects and contribute to key technical decisions.

• Deep .NET / C# experience, ideally with .NET 8+.
• Strong understanding of OOP, concurrency and distributed computing concepts.
• Experience with SQL Server and NoSQL databases such as CosmosDB or MongoDB.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services, e.g. Service Fabric, AKS, Blob Storage and Event Hubs.
• Experience with Angular and TypeScript, or a comparable frontend framework.
• Experience building RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Comfort using AI-assisted coding tools such as GitHub Copilot or Claude Code.
• Experience with unit testing and CI/CD.
• Fluent written and verbal English communication skills.
