We're growing our Data & Analytics team to support a long-standing client: a global cross-commodity price reporting agency whose data, forecasts and market analyses give traders and risk managers a strategic edge in complex, often opaque markets.

You'll join their analytics function to build and maintain the dashboards and data models that turn commodity pricing, forecasting and policy data into decisions their customers can act on — spanning critical minerals, long-term battery raw material forecasts, and trade and tariff tracking.

• Designing, building and maintaining Power BI dashboards and reports that translate complex commodity, pricing and forecasting datasets into clear, actionable insights.
• Writing efficient DAX measures and calculated columns to support sophisticated analysis at scale.
• Building and maintaining data models that integrate cleanly with Snowflake and other upstream data sources.
• Working closely with data engineers and analysts to source, clean and shape data ahead of reporting.
• Optimising report performance so dashboards stay fast and usable as datasets and user numbers grow.
• Ensuring data accuracy, consistency and security across every report you ship.
• Supporting end users directly — explaining what a dashboard shows, adjusting it as requirements evolve, and being a visible, responsive point of contact rather than someone who disappears after handover.
• Working across live analytics products, including a critical minerals database, a long-term forecasting module, and a policy tracking tool — each with its own data model and its own audience.

• Strong hands-on experience building Power BI dashboards and reports in a live, evolving business environment.
• Solid DAX and data modelling skills — you're comfortable going beyond drag-and-drop to solve genuinely tricky calculation and performance problems.
• Working knowledge of Snowflake, or strong transferable experience with a cloud data warehouse.
• Confident SQL for data extraction, shaping and troubleshooting.
• A genuinely can-do, problem-solving mindset. Things will break, requirements will shift, and priorities will move around you — we need someone who meets that with curiosity and a level head, not stress.
• Comfortable working directly with non-technical stakeholders, translating "what we need to know" into "what we should build".
• Resilient under a reasonable degree of ambiguity and pace — this is fast-moving, real-world commercial analytics, not a static reporting function.

• Experience with Power Query, Microsoft Fabric, or Azure data services.
• Exposure to commodities, trading, pricing or financial data.
• Microsoft PL-300 (Power BI Data Analyst Associate) certification.

You'll be engaged as a Ltd company contractor working alongside Adroit's own engineers and the client's internal analytics team — not dropped in alone. Adroit stays involved throughout the engagement: we want you supported, and we want the client to see the same steady, can-do delivery that's at the core of how we work.
