We are looking for a Salesforce Developer to join the Platforms team at one of Adroit's clients, a global independent price reporting agency covering metals, mining, agriculture, forest products and energy transition markets.

The Platforms team develops and maintains business-critical SaaS platforms, primarily Salesforce and Mulesoft, supporting an exciting roadmap of transformation projects alongside routine maintenance and support.

As a mid-level Platform Developer, you will join a cross-functional Scrum team, independently running small projects while contributing to larger initiatives. Around 20% of your time will involve business-as-usual and support tickets.

• Design solutions for small projects, leveraging out-of-the-box Salesforce capabilities and minimising customisation.
• Independently deliver small projects and enhancements, and support larger, more complex projects alongside senior team members.
• Develop Flows, Validation Rules, Approval Processes, page layouts, Lightning App Builder, Apex classes, triggers, test classes, Lightning Web Components, integrations and automations.
• Follow development standards, produce documentation and perform controlled code releases.
• Work closely with team members across technology departments, and engage business stakeholders to verify requirements and support feature rollout.
• Participate actively in stand-ups, demos and retrospectives.
• Gain and maintain relevant Salesforce certifications, and stay current with Salesforce releases and platform capabilities.

• 2+ years of experience as a Salesforce project developer.
• Experience with Salesforce Sales Cloud, including opportunities and quotes processes.
• Strong technical understanding of object relationships, the security model, Flow, Apex, SOQL and Lightning Web Components.
• Confidence managing CI/CD pipelines (GitHub, Gearset).
• Strong communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Accurate task estimation skills and a self-starter mentality.
• Salesforce certified Administrator and Developer.
• A relevant IT degree or equivalent experience.

• Salesforce Service Cloud experience.
• Experience with enterprise integrations (APIs, middleware, ETL tools).
• Mulesoft, CPQ or Agentforce implementation experience.
• Java or Python coding knowledge.
• Agile delivery and Scrum methodology understanding.
