Job Description:

We’re on the hunt for a dynamic and experienced Business Development Manager. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with a passion for driving growth and delivering exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. This role offers a generous uncapped commission structure, rewarding those who excel in their sales endeavours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Uncover and cultivate new business opportunities with prospective clients, introducing the full suite of Adroit’s services. This includes our bespoke Adroit Squads, On-Demand Engineering, Security and DevSecOps, Leadership and CTO services, “DevOps in a Box”, and Data Engineering & Analytics solutions​.
  • Foster and maintain relationships with current clients, spotting opportunities for upselling and cross-selling.
  • Be the face of Adroit at industry events and seminars, networking and making new connections.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are exceeded, delivering top-notch technology and innovative solutions.
  • Carry out market research and analysis to stay abreast of industry trends and competitive developments.
  • Prepare and present engaging pitches to potential clients.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base.
  • Work to ensure Adroit and its services feature on relevant government and private sector frameworks
  • Be an advocate for Adroit, it’s products, services and USP with a clear understanding and knowledge of each.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Demonstrable experience as a Business Development Manager or a similar role in the technology industry.
  • A solid understanding of the DevOps, digital transformation, and data analytics sectors.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and sales skills.
  • An ability to build rapport with potential and existing clients.
  • Proficient in market research and strategic planning.
  • A proven ability to guide the sales process from plan to close.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to flourish in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency with CRM software.
  • Knowledge of key sector specific government and private sector frameworks
  • Proficiency with working in highly regulated environments to ISO 27001 standards

The Package:

TitleBusiness Development Manager
LocationHome working with visits to UK & EU customer sites
Compensation£30 – 40k basic salary with an OTE of £60k, along with a generous uncapped commission structure
HoursFull Time – 37.5 hours per week
